First I would like to thank all of the locals in the Northeast region for their strong showing at this years convention in Las Vegas. It was a very special time for the Northeast Region, saying goodbye to a strong Unionist Dennis Biesik, and Re-Electing our own Phil Glover to a third term as Council President. I also want to thank the Locals for putting their faith in me and Electing me the Northeast Regional Vice President for the Council of Prison Locals.

•     Dave Rardin's retirement party is scheduled for October 26th from 6pm to 10 pm in Philadelphia. Anyone wishing to attend can call the Regional office for reservations at 215-521-7300.
•     FCI Schuylkill had an informational Pickett in support of the American Flag, when Management ordered a Correctional Officer to remove the flag from his window. There was support from the council when myself and Phil Glover walked the line with employees from the institution
